The issue with (Some) Indie Devs
Indie games are videos games made by indiviuals, NO SHIT. I have been making games since 2020 so i do see myself as an indie dev, so naturally i like watching, reading or hearing about indie developers. But i have noticed a trend in some of the Indie youtube videos i see.

there have been multiple instances where i have heard people cite the reason they got into game development being the Financial incentive which in my personally opinion is very very stupid. If you are making a game for the sole purpose of

You are not going to be taken seriously. Now let me be honest i do kind of get where these people are coming from, most people want money for anything that they do. You don't see painters giving their paintings out for free they want to be paid. But if someone only cares about the money part that is where i am like "Maybe i shouldn't buy this game" because most people buy games for enjoyment.
I would like to make money from my games but that's not why i make them I make them because i want to, because it's fun. I would like there to be more games in the world.
If you really just want to make because you think every indie game makes the dev become a fucking millionare with a yacht and jacuzzi and big house with too many bedrooms you are very misguided This is just like how People think they can turn Youtube into a job (You can't) Anyways i have to work on Y VY the game that i am making that will make twelve trillion dollars Y VY
